rain

From my spot beside the fan I can here a strange sound outside… could it be??! Are the skies not clear blue? I had to see for myself. So there I am standing in the RAIN big drops of it stotting down on me and my neighbour comes along and we smile and say ‘at last’!! It’s coming down thick and fast but is only a wee bit cooler now (it’s been another scorcher of a day so much so that I went to the library this afternoon just for some a/c!!) however, hopefully this may help to cool everything down. You never know it may even revive our lime tree!! I had a hot summer NYC memory yesterday. I went to the local beer and wine shop to buy some beer. In their shop they have a walk in fridge where they keep the beer. Oh how lovely was it to walk in there and cool down. I spent rather a while looking round trying to choose when in reality what I was doing was stealing their cool air!!! KJ – remember the meat locker at Fairway!!!!???? Pregnant with Henry I think, ah good times!
