There really are so many things you could get caught up thinking about (for ‘you’ read:me):
- using products on your hair/body that don’t contain nasty chemicals which are bad for me and the world
- using cleaning products that are good for the environment (and us!)
- getting enough sunlight to stay healthy but not getting burnt (which means sun cream and covering up (ensuring of course that the sun cream has no nasty chemicals!))
- eating healthy food which is good for you and comes from a good source – free range eggs, chickens etc
- and then there’s what to do with your money – how much to give away, how much to keep, how frivolous to be, when to treat yourself, when to alter your lifestyle so as to benefit others
- and of course what to feed your mind with (good, pure, wholesome etc)
It’s almost enough to make my brain spin. And then today I got thinking about organic food. I think I’m being persuaded that buying organic everything is a good idea. All that I read on the topic says that the pesticides and what not used to spray non-organic food is just not meant to be digested by us. I don’t want to buy into the hype though and I want to be a good steward of money. Any wise advice out there?
I bought velcro dots for J today (at his requests). He’s put together a little plastic pack of equipment he needs for the exam and wanted it to close properly so nothing would fall out. Thing is that now we have almost a whole pack of velcro dots and they are so easy to use… We’re seeing velcro opportunities everywhere. Watch this space!!
